Hi there guys my names Carrie  I have five rabbit and they never seem to stop shedding. I brush them almost every day if I get time and I occasionally give them a bath but as usual the hair is endless. I read up that if you give dogs vegetable oil in their food it reduces shedding and keeps their hair and skin health I was wondering if anyone know is this method works on rabbits many thank. P.S any tips

          Hi, Carrie

You should never bath a bunny. It’s very stressful for them and can be dangerous.

What breed are your rabbits? Most rabbits go through molting cycles several times a year. Some breeds tend to shed a little all year round, as well as going through molts.

I would very strongly recommend against giving your bunny vegetable oil.
