So I have noticed a big difference in how bucky is acting when we first got him to how he is acting now.  I love the little fluffy booger but my old tee-shirts now have holes in them from when he’s climbing up me and nibbling before hopping up on the couch in our den area.

I did notice several days ago that he has testicles are starting to descend.  He also has a fleece that he can dig into and other toys but his favorite toy seems to be me and my tee-shirts.  He is also started to warm up a bit more to my boyfriend who is also getting the same treatment that I am except he doesn’t seem to nibble his tee-shirts as much as he does mine. What gives, am I just the right kind of nibbling post and licking post for our bun or is it the fact that he’s started to become more mature in a manner of speaking?

I don’t know if it’s to do with sex hormones, my bunny Bam, who was neutered a long time ago, loves my mother and bites holes in her clothes while sitting in her lap. He’s not very into sitting in other people’s laps, but when coerced to do so, he doesn’t bite holes in their clothes. He may start digging though , in protest.

It may be just an expression of love. A form of grooming that would’ve suited humans better if humans were furry like bunnies, perhaps.

That makes sense, I guess it will be old sleep shirts with bucky when he’s let out during the day so that I don’t have to scrap my better shirts or make them into sleep shirts!

That is a very wise decision, SFB! My mother always has to see to it that she has old clothes around Bam. Last time we went to stay with her, he tore up a hole in her skirt that was like 2 by 2 inches. And he did it in 0.4 seconds flat!

Luckily, he licks on the pants and saves the nibbling of holes to my shirts but still it happens in 0.4 seconds as well and then he’s happily up on the couch exploring and trying to dig to china on the quilt that is on the couch!
