Hello, I’m new to Binky Bunny and I’ve got great advice on here before so thought I’d join!

I’m a first time bunny owner and my eldest has had an odd change in behavior. She’s 6 years old and lives outside with another bunny, she has quite an Eeyore personality but she has always been very loving and friendly towards me, especially when it comes to food!

She would normally run around the garden everyday and she comes running for food but for the past few days she’s much more reclusive than she used to be. She doesn’t want to come outside as much anymore and just sits in her hutch and when I put food down for her she’s very wary about it. She’s still eating and drinking normally and her poos and urine are all fine, I’ve even checked her weight and fur and I can’t find any explanation for her change in behavior, I’m getting quite worried

Thank you for any help, it will be much appreciated!

Is there anything poisonous in your yard she could have gotten into? Since she lives outside without supervision (I assume), it’s pretty much impossible to know what might have happened to her. She could have eaten something that made her sick, she could have gotten hurt somehow. I would take her to the vet for a thorough checkup.

          Is she spayed?

As far as I know there’s nothing that would harm her, we did a check of all our plants before we got the bunnies to make sure everything was okay for them. She’s not showing any signs of injury but I’m not ruling it out. She is spayed.
Thank you! I think I will take her to the vet if there’s no change soon
