Hi here, I’m new to this site and I am worried about my bunny. She’s around 3 years old and lately not acting like before.

My bunny is always ready to play, eat or do bunny stuff but shes so withdrawn the past 1 or 2 days.

I noticed that she didn’t wanted to go outside her cage but she didn’t refuse to eat. Eventually when she got outside shes been sitting under the table for quite a long time (that’s usually her place to rest) but when I called her to come (like I usually do) she didn’t respond. When she got on the food box I called her to get off it but still no response. Also when I’m shaking the food bag shes just sitting under the table. Usually when shes out she like hopping on the bad or eating my books but she didn’t do it today. I’m thinking shes going deaf but I’m not quite sure (she responds sometimes). Maybe shes having a bad day because of the weather lately.

I’m really worried, my bunny is like a family for me and whenever’s something wrong I get upset and depressed, so please if anyone has some tips to check if everything is alright with my bunny I’d really appreciate it.

Eating, pooping, drinking normally are the big measures. Is she doing all of these like normal? Are her poops normal size and color? Is she pressing her tummy to the floor or scrunched up (meatloafed)? Grinding her teeth?

If everything else is normal except she’s sitting under the table longer, is there anything that could have spooked her or any change in routine?

Change in behavior is often a cause for concern. If it keeps up, I would def recommend a vet check.

Yes, everything you mentioned above she’s doing normally there are no changes in her poop or consuming food.

About the spooking thing I’m not quite sure because I spend a lot of time in school so I’m able to watch her at morning and night. The only thing is that I’v run out food at Sunday (the one I usually use is Versele-laga) so I had to feed her with ordinary rabbit food but I bought a new one on Monday. I know food can be depressing for my bunny but shes using her ordinary food now and I don’t see a problem.

Sorry for the late response, I’ve waited some days to see whats going to happen. After the weather got nice and sunny she started behaving same as before. She still hears good but for some reason shes been ignoring everyone then.
