I have an approximately month old rabbit named snow which I got from a pet store. I also have a 3 month old rabbit named thumper. Well the issue is with snow. SHE was perfectly fine the days after bringing her home. one day I fed thumper some carrots and lettuce and snow nibbled on them too. The next day I noticed snow had a large about of very hard, rock like, poop all over her “areas”. I took her to the restroom and cleaned it off with some wet napkins. She was fine. The next day I checked her cage to clean her litter box and noticed she had stopped pooping. I lifted her up and diarrhea was all over her legs and genitals. I cleaned her up. She was fine. She continued to eat and drink normally. Yesterday I lifted her and found that she had poop stuck to her genitals and took a lot of work to take it off. After cleaning my bunny up, I noticed her genitals were swollen and her vagina was oozing out what I think was poop. I inspected her genitals closely and seen that her vagina looked rotten. It looked moldy, white with slight hints of blues. I thought it was just poop and noticed that it wasn’t anything on the exterior. It was her vagina! It was moldy!! I can’t immediately take her to the vet because the nearest one is far so it has to be a real emergency to go. My mother tells me to just leave her in her cage and she will be fine but she hasn’t pooped at all and I can’t tell if she’s eating. Help?!? Any thoughts?

Sorry you have to go to the vet! There is no at home cure for most rabbit illnesses and this sounds like it could be quite serious. How far is far? Can a friend or neighbor take you possibly?

I agree with the others. There is a problem and your bunny needs professional treatment.

Tell your mother this is an emergency. Runny poop in a baby bunny can be a number of things but most likely coccidia which is easily treated by a vet but can be deadly if not treated.

I’d definitely consider “moldy looking vagina” an energency. How far are you from the nearest exotic vet, or vet who will see rabbits?
