My bunny Bruno has recently been growing a bald spot on his ear and now there’s a white flaky patch in it’s place. The spot is on the top of the ear and nowhere else on the body. If it’s just dry skin, how can I fix it at home? Or could it possibly be mites?

I’m guessing it mites. But then again I don’t know, you could look it up?

It could just be dry skin – mites are very hard to see, you need to do a patch test and look under a microscope.

The vet will need to take scraping and test it. Off hand, I concur that it looks like mites. Vaguely possible it could be ringworm, but that’s usually rounder.

It could be mites or dry skin but you’d need a vet to check under a scope.
