I have a 8 month old polish male, and we got him about a month ago.. He was a little afraid of us as that was predictable.. but now suddenly he’s flopping alot and everywhere! He flops near us when were watching tv, or he flops right near his food bowls. Can someone please explain why he;s suddenly flopping like crazy all of a sudden? I know that when a bunny flops, hes happy and content with life, but is it normal for him to start flopping all the time? When he first flopped, it scared me half to death because I thought he was dead.. until I ran over to him and he jumped up and thought I was crazy.. please help!

Sounds to me like he just needed to get used to you and start to feel safe. I’m thinking he’s super happy and content and you have nothing to worry about

Sounds to me too like he’s super happy.

It’s very, very scary the first time you see a flop though =)

I agree, sounds like he’s relaxed. From my experience, a rabbit who is not feeling well, will usually sit hunched in a loaf position.

You’re bunny is telling you they’re the happiest bunny in the world! ?

The only time my bunny flopped in a negative manner was when we spent the whole day cleaning and she felt ignored. Every time we came near her, she’d flop on her back to make a statement that she was perfectly happy without us. The joke was on her though because I finally got a video of her flopping ?
