So last night journey started acting of for her. She wasn’t excited about her veggies like she usually is. She didn’t want to get in her cage, etc. This morning she had no poop in her litter box and she did not eat her veggies. She allowed me to pick her up, but is not get usual self. She seems to be shaking and now is stretched out behind her cage not wanting anyone to mess with her. We do not have an emergency vet in our area so I can’t do anything until tomorrow!! Please help! Is there anything I can do now to help her!!

This is not good, you need to get her to a vet. However in the interm I would get some Simethicone (baby gas drops, human variety) give her 1 ml immediately and again in 3 hrs. Tempt her with any food you know she likes, basil, coriander and mint are always good for most bunnies. If you have any critical care I would try and get her to take up to 10 ml from an oral syringe, if you don’t have CC you can make a slurry of pellets and water with a little apple or pineapple juice. Gentle tummy massages can also help. Softly run your hands down her belly along the sides. You can get oral syringes form the chemist as well as the simethicone.

Thank you! She has had the simethicone drops twice. she has eaten a little, drank some, and I have seen a few poops. She is looking better, seems a little tired, but much perkier than she was.

That’s excellent. I would still schedule a vet visit in case there is some other underlying cause other than just gas. You can give the simethicone evening and morning for several days to help things along and it will not impede any other medications.

This morning there was a handful of little poops in her litter box! She had eaten all her veggies, most of her pellets, and was excited to see me. I am still seeing a vet this week. Thank you for your help!
