No one quite gets a kick out of bunnies like those of us who own them and love them. I’m forever shoving my phone in people’s faces to show off my bunny’s picture. During her first few months, I would be curious about something and google it, even a few issues that I was concerned about, and BinkyBunny was in the majority of those sites that came up. So here I (we) am (are).

We have one bunny. Her name, officially, is Buttercup (BC), but for whatever reason it just seems to come natural to call her Boo Bunny.

She is aprox. 7 months old.

She has been with us since she was 3 months old.

She was just recently spayed. During the weeks prior, she was a bit much to deal with so her post-spay attitude is a vast improvement in her weeks leading up to the clinic visit.

BC is a resilient, adventuresome, nosey, sweet, oinker, poofball. She eats so much hay. Everything she eats is gone in seconds. At the vet when she received her spay, the assistant said she kept walking by her cage wondering why that bunny didn’t have any hay. Then she realized Boo Bunny was inhaling it all. She also acts like she has never, ever eaten before, every time you give her more hay.

She does very well with her litter box. There’s no way she was trained when we got her; she was kept in an outside run. So, she has figured out the potty all by her smart little self and I am also extremely proud to say that she never even leaves a rouge poo outside of her cage.

The best thing about Boo Bunny BC is that she is a half-dutch, half-lop. Her Dad was a lop, and her mom was a dutch (mostly, definitely something else for her). She has one ear up and one ear down:

I wasn’t able to do anything to my profile, because it kept returning a full page of errors, so I will get on that as soon as I can.

Just a brief bio of me/us: I live with my 5 year old daughter, just the two of us and Boo Bunny.  I am in a long-term relationship, but he is off working for a few months. I’m a non-traditional student at university getting a double bachelor’s in psychology and philosophy. Prior to BC, we did have a baby lion head that wasn’t with us but 10 days. That’s a sad story for another day. That one and Boo bunny are the first in my grown-up family.  However, we had rabbits when I was younger.

I don’t have but a network or two that I really frequent online, so I’m glad to find a new one…especially one who loves their poof ball as  much as we do

I look forward to getting to know all of you.

I love her colouring, and how her dutch/lop mix is split right down the center, that is adorable! Welcome to the forum, we’re a friendly bunch… Let this website be your guide, your advice, and to be honest, the place to release all your love for your Buttercup. Looking forward to seeing you around the threads

There is currently an error with the profiles, so it’s not just you.
Buttercup is adorable-I love one-ear-up one-ear-down bunnies, or helicopter bunnies as we call them.
              Welcome!
