        Hi there!

        i was wondering..

I have a bunny, who’s almost 2yo, and i’d love to get him a buddy! But I don’t know at what age should the other bunny be, because of the whole neutering thing.

Like, if the other bunny has 3 months, is it a good time to introduce them and see if they like each other? Or the hormones of the little one will kick in?

Or should I neuter the “new” bunny and then introduce them?

Where I live there are no places where I can bring my bunny and someone else does the bonding for me, nor bunnies that are already neutered =(

        Thank you!

I would suggest only introducing a neutered or spayed bunny to your current bunny. Keep in mind, though, if it’s not your bunny doing the choosing, there is always the possibility they will not bond. Are you prepared to keep 2 separate bunnies? Most bunnies can be bonded but sometimes it can take a while and you need to try lots of different methods.
