Hey everyone! So, we’ve been letting the bunnies run around outside (they’re completely enclosed, and they don’t have access to plants or anything a wild animal could’ve touched). They have been having lots of fun, but they are getting bored. What are your rabbit’s favorite toys, that last a little while? Thanks!

Mine don’t seem to care for toys at all! We have bought them those wood blocks/hanging block and they might chew for awhile, but don’t seem to care. Anything with food, though, like a hanging hay toy they like. Rocky likes to chew on the hay bungalow and Pumpkin likes to run through her crinkle tunnel. They both like to roll around their treat ball filled with pellets though.

Baby and Houdini’s favorite toys are cheap, thank the gods. Lol They both like to throw around/chew on anything cardboard. Paper towel rolls, drink carriers, ect.
If you’re asking about store-bought, their favorites are anything made from willow.

              Moxie doesn’t really like toys.

She only likes to destroy school books, library books, wires or bowls/plates, or my plants.

TP and paper towel rolls, anything willow, baby stacking cups, anything yucca, plastic balls, and fleece blankets to rearrange.

Meki likes the grass balls with a plastic jingle ball in them you can buy from pet stores, otherwise my mom makes small baskets for her from time to time that she likes to chew. I even have plastic cat toys that jingle for her. Essentially, anything that makes a lot of noise in the middle of the night so I’ll wake up and give her attention is what she likes the best. Second favorite toys are ones she can chew on like baskets and grass balls.

I usually stuff a handful of hay into a toilet roll. It keeps them entertained trying to retrieve the hay (Though make sure you keep an easily accessable stash of hay elsewhere when they need to eat their full!)

Another idea is filling a toilet roll with treats, cutting the edges of the roll and folding down the flaps. They’ll have to dig and gnaw through the toilet roll.

I’ve given my rabbit those hanging kabobs and she likes it, but only if there are treats on it. She also likes cylinder wood wheel things with a wooden ball in it. Anything that has to do with treats really. She likes ripping up newspaper from her litter box or cage. Anything simple really.

Willow balls. Not sure if they really count as a toy and not a snack though, since they usually disappear in a few days.

Mine like willow balls to but I don’t buy them very often since the cost doesn’t seem worth it being they are destroyed in a matter of minutes. Mine like cardboard things, toilet paper rolls. They enjoy tearing up magazines. I use to give them hanging kabob toys but they don’t have a cage anymore to hang them from. sometimes I buy some that are like that and just lay them on the floor. They will pick them up with their mouths and toss them around and nibble on them a bit. Oh and I recently ran out of packing take and gave them the cardboard roll that the tape had been attached to and they toss and roll that around too.

Mine love when I hang baby chains and keys from the top/sides of the pen. Lionel also goes crazy for any barbell-shaped toy. They both love their maze haven.

Ziggy loves his plastic slinky. He tries to drag it, but it pulls back when lets go. Fun game for him apparently.
And those baby teething keys as well.

Pascal’s favorite toy is anything with food or treats. His favorite is one of those small untreated wooden chests found at craft stores. I put treats inside and he start trying his hardest to open it. He has gotten way too good at opening it now though!

I just made Winston a digging box this afternoon, just a cardboard box with one side cut down to get in/out full of shredded yellow pages!
I put some pellets in for him to dig around for, he’s been playing in it for the last 30 minutes!
