So a few days ago, Bunbun was acting rather aggressive than usual and he refused to eat his pellets(he ate it in the end) and he didn’t really want to come out and didn’t reallh run around the house … So I decided that I had not trimmed his nails for a long time and started trimming his nails… Then midway I noticed that around the quick area there was this line, like the nail was about to come off but the nail was still there, there was no blood and I have since trimmed that nail, but is it still a cause for concern?Becuz he was in his cage and I have no idea how he almost broke his nail(Phew, thank goodness he didn’t )
        I feel so bad now
How often should I trim a rabbit’s nails? Becuz Bunbun is v strong n I’m scared I would cut at the wrong area sometimes…

You should trim a rabbits nails every 2-4 weeks. I wouldn’t worry, but is it possible for you to post a picture?
