Anyone looking for a rabbit?

Hi, I’m not sure if this type of thread is allowed in this forum, if not, I apologize in advance !

Anyway, this is kind of personal, but basically my parents may divorce soon, and one may move out of state. I will most likely not be able to keep my rabbit in the process, so I’m looking for someone who may want to take my cute little bunny and give him a good home. Again, this is a thing that may happen, whether it be soon, in the future, or never. But I would like to play it safe and find my bunny a good home before it happens.

My bunny’s name is Mochi, he is littered trained, very shy (has not been with other rabbits), and neutered. He is 2 years old, will be 3 in December. 

I am NOT looking for people who use rabbits for shows or competitions, I am looking for someone who just loves rabbits like I do.

I am sorry this is happening to you. Are there any rabbit rescues or HRS chapters near you that you may be able to work with?

Yes, unfortunately BB is not a place for rehoming bunnies. We do want to help you though if we can. Are you able to give us your general area? We can see if there are any rescues or HRS chapters that would be willing to work with you.

http://www.bunnybunch.org/pages/ This is a rescue that many people apparently have had very good experience with. I am not sure how they are with private surrenders, as they say they mostly do shelter runs and are very full right now.
http://www.saveabunny.com/ This is the rescue that the owner of BinkyBunny works with. They do not take in private surrenders, but they do say they are more than happy to help rehome a bunny.
These were the two most pronounced rabbit rescues in your area that I could find. There are several HRS chapters (none are extremely close)-
California – Monterey
California – North Coast
California – Sacramento*
California – San Diego*
California – SF Peninsula
California – Stockton*
California – The Valley
California – West L.A.
I think I would just give a few of these rescues a ring and just see what you are working with.
