Goodbye my sweet Peanut

So this morning, I took Peanut in to get her spayed.  I figured nothing could go wrong so I went to work excited to be able to pick her back up when it was done.  About two hours later I get a call telling me that they were trying to revive her because her heart stopped.  They got it started again six times, but she wasn’t able to breathe on her own, so she passed away.  

She was 10 months old and was such a funny little rabbit.  I would lay on the floor and she would run up and binky around me, and then start licking my face.  She was such a loving little rabbit and it breaks my heart that she passed so suddenly.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s just awful. We try and do what’s best for them and sometimes it goes so wrong.

I’m so sorry for your loss! I just got my girl spayed and I have to say that that was my biggest fear.
As horrible a loss it is, at least with going in this way she was under anesthesia and pain medicine, so she wasn’t distressed.

You did what you could for her, and she sounds like she loved you, and was a happy girl; and that’s what is important to remember. Quality of life over length.

I have tried to post here a couple of times and can’t seem to come up with anything comforting for such a sad thing. All I can say is I am so sorry for your loss of sweet Peanut.
