Are they all safe for bunnies? Bun Bun got into some flaxseed earlier and I’m not sure if they’re safe. I also have some chia seeds and coconut flakes and were wondering if bunnies could have them

I wouldn’t worry too much about the flaxseeds. How much did bunny eat? Were they whole or ground up?

As for the chia seeds and coconut. I would steer clear of those things.

He got about two pinches maybe three? They were whole and when I turned around, he sucked them up like a vacuum.

If it’s been more than 24 hours, I suspect he will be fine. I’m wondering if he would have been able to digest them whole or whether he just pooped them out. I know that horses can’t digest the whole seeds because of the shell on them.

Many bunny pellets contain flax seeds. It doesn’t strike me as anything that’d be very bad for a bunny.
