Uuuuuugh. I am so frustrated right now. Yesterday my female rabbit started randomly sneezing and shot a large white chunk of mucous out of her nose. I immediately called the vet and took her and her brother in. The vet didn’t see anything wrong. He said she looks fine to him and heard “a bit of moisture” in her nose. He said to give her some benadryl because it seems like allergies. I just got home and was about to clean the cage and she started having a sneeze attack again and shot another white mucous out of her nose. Could this be it?! I’m so worried. I haven’t sone anything different with the buns. They are kept indoors and are free roaming in my room. They haven’t gotten into anything either. Idk what to make of this.

Allergies??? Benedryl?? That’s weird, but what do I know? I would really be worried about what you are obviously thinking w/ the Pateurella. I’m kinda surprised noone has responded to this. Have you had to go to a vet who isn’t used to rabbits? I understand some people have to do that, and some vets, even though not exotics specialists can be up on rabbits enough to often get by, but that all sounds fishy to me. I’d post again if noone else responds. Moxie Meadows has been going through something with her bun.
