I’ve had Cocobuki 3 months now. On day 1 I noticed he was drooling so I had the vet examine him when I got him home from the shelter. The vet did a full check of his mouth said there was nothing wrong with his teeth. Buki also randomly sticks out his tongue a bunch no idea why. I’m not certain if it has anything to do with the drool.Anyway his drooling seems worse and the fur under his jaw is starting to get a bit matted. My Vet can’t find any reason for it so any ideas?

The vet may need to put him under anesthesia to check those very back molars and do a more thorough inspection of the mouth….that’s what I would suggest.

He did do that. My first thought was molar spurs so he checked that first thing

Maybe try another vet? There is definitely something up and it needs to be diagnosed so you can figure out what to do! Or another exam.
If he didn’t find anything-what did he say?

He thought it might be an over production from his scent gland on his chin. He said he’s seen that in other bunnies after neuter. Also said he was one of the horniest rabbit he had ever seen… So he though his hormones might be acting funny from the nuter. (He had been two weeks post neuter at that point)
