He’s a cutie

I had trouble getting to sleep and I’ve become so accustomed to Mr Roger waking me up at breakfast time that I got up when he jumped on my bed to get him food this morning. I then proceeded to turn on the lights and romp about sorting things out. I was so sure that my wife had left for her photography shoot… until she very grouchily woke up because Roger was digging at her feet and informed me it was the middle of the night. Whoops!

Anyway, I was restless for the rest of the night and although Roger isn’t one to sprawl out on my bed and sleep, he did come and sit with me for pets a couple of times. It was very sweet and he didn’t wee while he was up there which always gets him bonus points.

A couple of days ago, when he wasn’t getting enough attention after I put his food down (I was trying to sleep), he took to repeatedly bumping my eyebrow with his chin.

I keep meaning to get photos of his bedtime shenanigans but usually he’s sat on my head and it’s too dark.

Haha. He didn’t previously like our bed – we used to put him on there so we wouldn’t have to lay with him.

The one day, the evil Hoover came out, and he fled upwards. The rest is history.

Here’s a picture of my snugglebun. He voluntarily gets into this position, so I think he likes it.

My wife says “I can’t work with this camera.” (My phone is subpar, apparently, lol.) and “I don’t like this ensemble.” (My dressing gown doesn’t lend itself to a good photo.” (But she took it anyway so I think that she doth protest too much, haha.)

But I think they’re a cute photos.

Bam – Yohio sounds adorable. I dread to think what will happen if we get a friend for Mr Roger – he’s not a licker. :/

He is very sweet. I adore him. And take way too many photos, lol.

I thought his colouring was pretty unique too, but then I looked at the local shelter and saw a bun very similar to him. So maybe silver is a more common colour for lionheads? Or a coincidence. Idk.
