I was eating candied ginger and my bun snagged a bite when I wasn’t looking. He seems to like it at first then the burn hit and he kept thumping. Poor Buki. Anyway should I worry is it toxic? An online search gets mixed results. Several sites say it’s good to give for breeding and others say it killed thier buns. Idk help

I’d just keep an eye on him, and make sure he eats plenty of hay, water and leafy greens to help keep his digestive tract moving and flush out the ginger.

Honestly I don’t think it’s toxic-bad maybe in bigger doses but a tiny amount I can’t see a big issue. Keep a close watch-and like Moxie said make sure he’s eating and drinking to keep things moving; and maybe call your vet or an e-vet to get an opinion/info/what to watch for is a good option.
