  I was so excited to get Lily, but unfortunately, I had to give her back. I don’t thibk I was prepared for the stress of bonding.

  Bonding can be very stressful and time consuming. At least you realized you weren’t able to handle it before she settled in.

  Like JR said bonding is pretty stressful and definitely time consuming I think you did the right thing that works for you. Please don’t feel bad.

  The good news is my mother fell in love with her and has decided to keep her!! I will help her with the cost and if I ever feel better equipped to try again, the option is there!

  Thank you everyone. I feel so guilty & like a horrible person. I keep berating myself for jumping into a 2nd rabbit so fast & then not being able to handle it.
  I should mention I have anxiety problems so it doesn’t help my situation.

  Aww….I can relate. I have anxiety pretty bad as well. It makes everything more stressful.
