so i woke up today and there was a strange substance on the floor.. i didn’t understand it but figured my bf had something to do with it so i  cleaned it up and forgot about it (it didn’t smell like alcohol just faintly sweet, i thought it was spilled tea or someting)

fast forward to now i find an empty flask of whiskey near rabbit’s cage!!

i don’t know if she drank any or just spilled it around or what.. i have no idea how much was in the container either

she’s acting normal but should i worry?  vet’s closed now

rabbit’s are insane! lock your liquor cabinets!

Wow! This is a new one

Was it a plastic bottle? Maybe she was flipping it around…?

Anyways, keep an eye, call the emergency vet (maybe they can tell you what to watch for) and try to see your vet tomorrow if anything is off.

Mmmm, Reminiscent of a friends bunny getting into the freshly made rumballs last year. Extremely rummed up rumballs. Bunny was very pleased with self and did lots of binkies and cavorts (probably as pickled as a parakeet) No ill effects and surprisingly no apparent hangover.
Still check in with the vets though.

Roberta – I am so going to use the phrase ‘probably as pickled as a parakeet’. Awesome.

Scubahood – was your bun okay?

she seemed to pull through with no ill effects

i think kokanee is correct about her flipping around the plastic bottle… not sure about the lid though …

Lucky your not in North Eastern Australia or she may have invited Henry over for mixers. Andi’s Henry is very skilled at opening coke cans.
