I don’t know how many of you are from the American North East, but we’re in the middle of a blizzard right now! I’ve heard that bunnies like digging around in snow, and thought of taking some inside in a plastic bin for my bun to play in. Do they actually like it, or can it be harmful? Will it get him too wet or too cold? Just wondering what everyone thinks.

Usually it’s fine. I’m not doing any snow for Porky though b/c the fur hasn’t grown back from the numerous places he got shaved during his visit to the vet ER and follow up visit. Poor fellow is lacking huge chunks of his nice warm coat.

It’s fine! Lots of buns love it. Just make sure to dump out the snow when it melts, and dry off your bunny, and keep your bun away from drafts until he’s totally dry

It’s fine, as long as you get the snow from a clean, safe place. And once it starts to melt you dump it. If your bun got too cold, I’m sure s/he’d leave the snow alone.

Lionel loves snow. It’s perfectly fine as long as it’s clean and new.

I’ve never brought in snow for my buns but we certainly have LOTS right now. I really should some time. I assume Bindi will be non-impressed (as that is his attitude towards most non-food things) and Olivia will be upset (she’s a Diva!).
