Forum DIET & CARE Can rabbits eat ginger?

        We didn’t feed him ginger, but some food that had touched ginger. Online sources seem to have differing views (but mostly seem to say that ginger is an herb that is not harmful – i.e. helps rabbits breed??)

        He seems to be fine, eating and pooping well, but curious on this for the future, too.

          I’m sure if it’s touched ginger it’s fine. I cannot imagine a rabbit liking the taste of straight ginger (which I love) but I’m not sure how rabbit’s taste things.

          Ginger is a root that is used as a spice.
