Now don’t get me wrong, little Gracie loves to be pet and rubbed and she’ll lick your face. But, picking up and snuggling on the couch really haven’t been her thing. Actually she hates it. I think she feels confined. Anyway, today my girlfriend said that Gracie hopped right up on the couch, which she’s known to do, but went over to her and snuggle up and has been there almost all day. Mind you, it’s about 10º outside and the apartment isn’t terrible warm. She also had on a very very soft fluffy type of sweatshirt, that was believed to be liked by Gracie. While this has been a nice surprise, it’s still very uncharacteristic for the bunny. Is this something we should be worried about? She’s been burrowed and snuggled all day and is acting very “needy”. Thoughts? We do have a vet appointment tomorrow, but I wanted to get some initial insight before then. Thanks.

Sometimes rabbits pick out a person they like and go crazy over them. One of our bunnies acts like this around my wife but not other people.

sweet! I have had my bunnies since September and my jersey wooly hated, hated, hated to be picked up. I would never pick her up because she struggled so to get away. I got her spayed and she was a little better about being touched. Finally the other day I picked her up and she didn’t struggle! I swear, I feel honored, lol! Things have to go very slow with her.
