So I’d been having issues with Whisky stealing Suki’s (my German shepherd) food. I’ve been doing a mix of spray bottle training and just keeping Suki’s food out of reach when I can’t watch Whisky. So tonight I was watching Whisky while Suki ate, and she was just hanging out on the rug, about 8′ from Suki’s food. All of a sudden Suki takes a mouthful of her food and drops it on the floor in front of Whisky and walks away! Whisky managed to get two pieces before I could get it away from her. They both got scolded for that one! So I guess from now on Suki only gets fed when Whisky is caged…

I’m still trying to convince my critter-babies that they shouldn’t eat each others food as well.  Peter will try to eat Zoeys dry cat food any chance he gets… and Zoey wants his hay.  When Pete was younger and still in a fenced off area of the house he would pick up the hay and put it through the bars for the cat.  Didn’t exactly help us telling her no. lol

Moxie won’t eat dry dog/cat food (As soon as I post that Moxie will be sure to pick up the habbit), I’m safe to leave a bowl down for my dog in “Our” (Moxie’s) room. Although my dog (Mini Dachshund) likes to try to eat rabbit pellets. (The kind that’s packaged for buns to eat AND the ones that come out of the rabbit!!)

Suki just wanted to share! Haha

Ox LOVES dog food and I also recently found out he loves beef flavored rawhide bones. Weirdo. Tribble will happily eat both varieties of Ox’s pellets, his hay, and his willow toys.

Tribble hasn’t touched her bones yet but if one is out while Ox is out he’ll find it and try to chew it.  It’s the same with the willow toy. Ox hasn’t paid any attention to it but Tribble keeps trying to sneak into his pen to grab it. I should have switched up their Christmas presents!

Haha oh yes, my bird wants to eat the ones that come out of the bunny too! He’s always trying to sneak into their litter boxes. And he likes to try to kiss me on the lips afterwards…

One thing you can count on from animals is that they have no sense of “eeewwww”!

This is too funny! None of my animals get to interact (between species) so I love to hear these stories! So cute.

The dogs are fed in the kitchen so Frodo has never been able to try dog food. In our old place he had his own room that doubled as the cat feeding room. The cast were fed on the floor but he was never interested in their food. The cats though love to play with his hay and veggies. But when I give him treats they leave those alone. the dogs however will try to eat everything. lol.

What other animals do you have LEL?

I have a feathered bunny. AKA, a cockatiel. He wants to eat with the buns, groom them, etc so he thinks sharing his seeds is just being a bunny. lol

Suki steals Whisky’s food once in awhile. Mostly her greens, sometimes pellets. If I happen to spill pellets on the floor Suki cleans them up. And yeah, she’s also been known to clean up the other kind of pellets if Whisky leaves some on the rug (which thankfully is rare now)…
