First of all, I have no idea  if this is in the right place. Second of all, I have no idea what’s going on.

So a few minutes ago I heard a flatulence sound, as if it was human. No one was around so I just thought my dog was having another tummy ache. So then I got up from my chair and I looked in my rabbits’ area to give them their pellets for the day and I saw my rabbit Oreo had possibly peed in her food bowl toy. I’m pretty positive it’s urine because it has a pretty strong scent of ammonia, but I’m not too sure. I immediately took it out to take a picture of it for this thread. Is it possible this is diarrhea or bloody urine or something else? She is not huddled in pain, and she is eating but I’m not too sure if she’s drinking. She does not share her cage with Perry, my other bunny, since they aren’t bonded yet. If you need ANY more information, I can almost definitely supply it. Here’s a link to the cloudy liquid. Edit: I have not fed her any red/orange pigmented foods like carrots. I’ve just been feeding her hay, pellets, and greens.

I can’t see the picture. It says I have to log on and I don’t have an account.

If the color is consistent throughout, then it shouldn’t be a cause for concern. Bunny pee comes in all sorts of colors. Anything from almost clear to yellow to orange/reddish is considered normal. Carrots aren’t the only thing that can affect urine color. Anything with carotene in it will do the trick. That includes greens such as spinach, kale, dandelion, collard greens, parsley, cilantro, etc. Cloudiness is also considered normal. Bunnies pee out excess calcium, which makes their urine look cloudy. If they pee on a surface, you will see a white powdery substance after it dries. That’s the calcium. You should only be concerned if they have thick, sludge-like urine.

Okay, that’s good to know. I’m glad she’s okay! Thanks!
