        Aloha guys!

I’m hoping I can clear up some things I’m wondering about here. I know it isn’t ideal to just choose any bunny to bond with my girl and she is getting spayed next month as she approaches her 6th month. I didn’t have a choice for a desperate bunny who is 4 weeks old. So it isn’t an option to get rid of the baby. I plan to wait for them both to be spayed to start bonding. My question is if its a good idea to keep them in the same room about 5 feet from each other?  Is it ok if the are let out to roam the same area at separate times? Will letting them be in the same room in separate cages help possible bonding later?  Have any of you had experience with this?

        Thanks in advance guys!

Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t. Getting them used to each others’ scents can sometimes help pave the way for a bond later on. Unless your resident girl is highly territorial and the smell of another bunny starts a “war”. You can try it and if an issue arises, then it would be good to move them to separate rooms.

It may or may not help, but it probably won’t cause any harm.
