  Didnt know whether to put this in ‘bonding’ or ‘behaviour’ but- my two buns have been bonded fpr a few montjs noe, and apart from one scuffle duribg the process, its been very successful. However, today luna has started mounting and biting merlin, hard enough to rip fur out! I had to seperate them. Merlin doesnt seem too distressed but why the sudden change in dynamics? Im at work tonight- should i seperate them?
  My partner thinks that because they are currently in a new room, luna wants to make a bid for power. Theyre both desexed- i thought this ki.d of vicious behaviour was a thi.g of the past!

  A new room means establish dominance over a new territory. Your partner is probably correct. Can you put them next to each other in separate playpens in the new room? Maybe they can calm down for a while.
  It is not surprising the female acts this way they are more territorial than males.
