I had to go to another vet (not my usual vet) over the holiday, my rabbit’s eyes were getting puffy and had discharge. So I went to this vet and he gave me 5mg of Baytril and told me to give it to my rabbit 1 cc twice daily. Anabele is 3.10 lbs, I feel like this medicine dose is too harsh for her, don’t you think? I e-mailed my vet Dr Harvey right away but I waited three days and she has not responded.

What should I do? Does anyway know the right dose? Need to know ASAP.

Um, if I’m reading the bottle correctly, my Gus is on 150 mg. once a day and he’s 12 pounds, so I’ve played with the math, and it sounds like that’s actually a low dose yours is on ? Oh, and I would imagine there is a range, but I don’t know what it would be.

This was given to me by one of the forum leaders here. You can refer to this or the Medirabbit. Just type of the medicine and ‘medirabbit’ on Google and it will come up in the results.

Here it is. Both the sources say 5-15 mg per kg. Once or twice a day.
