I was petting Gunther and I noticed what felt like a scab. After looking at it, it looked like a relatively small line, which had the appearance of a scab. He does have free roam of my room at all times but I don’t know how or when he could have hurt himself in this fashion. It didn’t look inflamed nor infected, it didn’t seem to be bothering him either. Could this be something else like some sort of a skin disease? Have any of you had this sort of experience before?

        -Thank You in advance!

if you are thinking this could be a skin problem, you should contact a vet.
          I AM NOT A VET.

from experience though, id say if he acts normal, it probably is just a scratch and you should keep an eye on it. also, you could try googling different skin problems common in rabbits and see if it looks similar. this won’t DIAGNOSE anything, but could definitely help you get an idea between the difference between a scratch and a skin disease.

hope this helps, and if it doesn’t get better in a few days, which a scratch should heal by then, take him to the doctor
