December is going to be a very busy month in the Paws household. First, obviously christmas, but then also we are moving into a new flat (hurrah!) on the 20th December. I’m going to my parents for the holidays to see my family, and i cant bring the rabbits with me We have a dog back home who is unfortuneatly a hunting terrier, so thats a definite no! I’m going to have to board them while I’m moving and on holiday with this lovely lady who originally looked after merlin at the rescue centre. She’s very nice but i still feel absolutely dreadful. They’re house buns who never use hutches so i’m worried they wont take to the centres hutches at all!

I’ve sent her a message asking about her excercise routine for them to assuage my fears.

Oh dear, this is a very rambly post. Sorry. I just feel bad I’m leaving my babies over christmas

Aww, don’t feel bad. I am sure you can have your Christmas celebration with them when you get back from your trip. They wont even know!

At least you have someone knowledgeable to take care of them. They may not have the same exact routine, but they will get food and exercise and have someone to monitor their health. Just make sure you bring lots of bunny presents!!!

You mean I am not the only one?  I cant stand to leave Cotton to go a visiting.  I hate it.

When hubby was in the hospital tho I knew where I needed to be.  Otherwise Cotton comes or I dont go.  Usually.  Mostly cuz I dont completely trust hubby to not stay longer than a week meaning 5 days.  He wants to stay gone 2-3 weeks

Your babies will be fine though.  This is necessary n they should not come to any harm.

I think they’ll just be pouty about it. How long will you be gone? Are they bonded?

They will be fine it won’t be forever.  They do adjust again its only for a little bit.  Then things will be back to free roam again.

Oh yeah, week isn’t bad at all. They’ll be back to routine in no time with you! Maybe they’ll be so happy to see you that they’ll forget they were ever mad at you!
