        Well…..

I took Little Bit in the bathroom.  I took Cotton in the bathroom.  Closed the door brushed Cotton.  Opened Birdies door.  She came out. Cotton went inside her cage.

I got Cotton out.  Birdie touched Cottons hair. He smelled her.  She flew. Cotton explored the bathroom. Then when she flew now n then he would thump.  So I put her in her cage.

Cotton jumped in my arms. I took him to the living room.  Loved on him. Let him down.

Brought Birdie in the living room too.  She rested from her flying about.  Woke up n sang n played. Cotton didn’t seem to mind her. I think he just had to get used to the noise. She doesnt’ sing all day long anymore. She sure plays a lot still. She must have needed to fly around. Calmed her down.

Oh now it is time for Cotton to make an appearance.  Lets see what happens. He is watching the little bird.

Ah I just put his greens bowl out he came over grabbed a little piece of carrot and happily took off with it.

I wonder if he is going to be ok with the bird tonight. If not I will put her in the bathroom and put her to sleep for the night. Oh here comes Cotton he wants more greens n things. Come on hop up here like you usually do Boo. Ah here he comes  up on the couch good boy

Hey MM how have you been?  And your bunnies

Its a little parakeet. A delightful little thing I had to put her back in the bathroom.  In the evenings around 6:00 Cotton won’t come up like he usually does or stop staring at her from the middle of the floor til I put her in the bathroom.

Otherwise all day he is fine with her in the living room.  Thats  when he hangs out under HIS coffee table n his chew toys chewing now n then.  Thats good. She needs to be in the living room and not locked away out of sight.

I don’t like locking animals away out of sight all the time like that.  Its not healthy Just at night is ok. She gets to see us during the day.

And Henri   I keep the toilet lid down at all times.  Unless I am sittin on it lol  She did fly into the window but she caught on fast. Didn’t do it again. Fortunately.  I may trim her wings after all.  Thank you for your concern.

Hubby  keeps the lid down at all times too. And no standing water.  Plus when cooking she won’t be flying around.  Wouldn’t want her to land in a scalding pot.

I’m doing good, along with my bun.
Aww, I love parakeets, they are so cute. I’m glad she has a great home with you, it sounds like you take great care of her.
