Hi, So this doesn’t seem to be a huge problem but I guess I’d just like some opinions. Miles, my bunny, drips water all over his chin which runs down his chest and clings to his fur, when he drinks. He drinks from a bowl which could be why he’s so messy but he makes puddles of water when drinking from a bottle. He’s a Holland hop with long-ish fur and floppy ears . Does any one else have his problem?

        Thanks

Doesn’t seem like an issue to me, as long as he’s not rolling around in the water every day. Just like humans, there are clean bunnies and messy bunnies.

We solved the water bottle puddles by putting the bottles over the litterboxes (Moshi is a messy drinker). I bought a gravity water feeder but haven’t gotten around to setting it up yet — will let you know what we do when the Messter, oops the Moshter, starts using it!

One plus…..you didn’t mention your bunny doing this so hopefully you won’t have this problem, but some of the bunnies on here seem to enjoy putting their toys in their water bowls and I believe we have one here who has even sat in the water bowl!

Bindi does this too. His face gets really wet when he drinks.

Haha no no problems with toys yet. I love hearing others bunny stories. I’m moving upstairs so hopefully i can move things around to my benefit.

Puck tends to leave water puddles everywhere too… but he does that by putting his feet in the bowl x_x This morning he climbed into the freaking thing so that he could periscope on his tippy-toes to see what I was doing… though why he couldn’t have done that an inch to the left is beyond me.
