What type of veggies do most people give to their bunnies on a daily basis?
Most websites I go on say different things as to when you can give them certain veggies and it’s just really confusing me. I don’t want to be giving my rabbit something often if it’s not supposed to have it daily ?

You’re rabbit needs to eat at least 3 cups of fresh leafy greens each day, and more if they can handle it without getting a runny bum.

I feed my bunnies (two bunnies) a salad two times a day, usually including: romaine lettuce, red leaf lettuce, parsley, cilantro, and sometimes a bit of carrot.

          Here’s a list:

I would trust this website over any other website. It’s the House Rabbit Society.

That is a good list. Just to clarify, a veggie on the I list (high oxalic acid) can be fed regularly. It just has to be paired with two other veggies that are from the II list (low oxalic acid). So you can have 1 from I and 2 from II. Or you can have all three from II.

I’d just like to add in that it’s usually best to try several different veggies, know what your bunny will eat/doesn’t upset his stomach, and give as much variety as possible. If you can’t have more than three or four different greens at once, I suggest rotating them as often as possible to keep your bunny’s diet interesting. The amount of greens will depend on the weight of your bunny. For example, my 4 pound Lionhead gets 3 cups of veggies daily (today she got romaine, arugula, kale, and parsley).

Thankyou for the help! My rabbit sometimes seems to have a sensitive gut, is there any vegetables that you think may be alright to give him that aren’t too rich and wont upset his stomach? ?
