OUR FORUM IS UP BUT WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF UPDATING AND FIXING THINGS.  SOME THINGS WILL LOOK WEIRD AND/OR NOT BE CORRECT. YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED.  We are not fully ready to answer questions in a timely manner as we are not officially open, but we will do our best.

I have a 1 year old male lion head. I adopted him 5 weeks ago and he chewed the baseboards a little. He was neutered 2 weeks ago, and the chewing is so much worse. He is destroying baseboards, wall casings, furniture. It’s a mess! I have given him several wooden chew toys from the pet store, a cardboard box, paper, empty oatmeal container, and toilet paper tubes all to try to redirect his chewing. It’s not helping. Please tell me what I can do! Also, if any of you experienced this post-neutering, did it get better? If so, how long before the chewing subsided?

There is another board made called “Crazy bunny” asking a similar question. Move diagonally said it takes about 4-6 weeks for them to calm down. But when they first get fixed, their hormones are fluctuating making them act even crazier. Just be patient and bunny proof, bunny proof, bunny proof.
