So, some of you might remember my lovely Luna.

Bit of a sad case. She was found abandoned in a shed, obviously one of those hutch rabbits who were a novelty and then out of sight, out of mind, so very severely neglected. After spending a while in the adoption, no one wanted to adopt her because she’s a bit funny looking. So, of course, I took her home. The poor girl had had so little human interaction she would shake every time my partner or I walked past. I made sure she had a lot of hiding places and we did baby steps.

Today we had a MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE break through and I couldn’t be happpier. I was sat on the bed and she was on the floor next to me so I slowly reached down and gave her a stroke, smoothing her ears down. So far so good, so we sat like that for about ten minutes. After that, I went back to what I was doing and she actually sat up and head bonked my hand until I stroked her again. After she got her strokes she ran around the room binkying like a mad woman. This is just amazing from the terrified little bun I took in a few months ago. So happy you guys. <3
