And apparently so does Pumpkin! We are integrating her slowly to the whole house, working on the living room this weekend. She’s binky-crazy! I even saw a triple binky yesterday! Love love love!! The hubby was was on floor playing with her and she binkied right at him. I might not get kisses, but I’ll take the binkies!

Same here LLH! I live for binkies and will take as many as I can get!

I’ve had my three for a year and I’m finally figuring out how to (usually!) get them to binky. Kieko’s cue is to do a head binky at her and then say “Where’s that binky bunny?”. Moshi’s cue is to lightly squishy his butt right above his tail. Marlee’s cue, and she’s the toughest, is to whisper to her (preferably “pretty bunny” and to keep whispering how pretty she is! I guess she likes those sounds!)

That is hilarious JR! Pumpkin binkied at Jared when he was on all fours kind of nudging his head toward her, so sounds similar to Kieko’s cue. So cute! She’s been zooming in circle around the couch too. It’s hardwood in her room, so I think she is appreciating the carpeting.

I will (and have!) done just about anything for a bunny binky. I read somewhere that rabbits will often respond to a binky with their own binky. I found that a full body binky is painful at my age but I can painlessly pull off a rather successful head shake binky and Kieko responds. Granted my hubby and I look pretty ridiculous to others when we’re doing our head binkies but who cares if it gets the bunny going! The M&Ms haven’t gotten that memo yet, but we’re still trying — from them, I usually get the “mommy’s gone crazy” stare.

Where do you find a hubby who’ll binkie with you? Lots of guys love dogs and cats, but bunny men…hmmmm.

I don’t know how to pull my own statement out of the quote box. Is my meaning clear?

BunnyHugger — He acts all macho when other guys are around, but when its just us, he binkies right along with me (he actually does it better than I do), he gives the best bunny ear rubs, and has play time and lap time with Kieko every night while I make bunny salads. Kieko has kindof chosen him as her favorite human so he feels like he should be the one to get most of the cuddle time with our ONLY lap bunny.

I haven’t noticed any cues from Bumpy or Clyde… I mean they both head shake and binky just whenever, but Bonnie! LOL we can totally make her binky almost anytime she’s having floor-time. You only have to say NO BONNIE!!! As she’s laughing at me, binkying away, kicking her feet and twisting her body. Seeing as she’s always looking to get into something… well there are a LOT of binkies coming from her.

Manic — maybe you need to get your own binky on with the other two!

Bonnie sounds like so much fun. Just wait until they’re all bonded and she teaches the boys how to have fun!

Pumpkin did no less than 15 binkies while out last night (about 5 hours out in the living room). I’m talking straight up, sideways, and forward binkies. Double and triple binkies! I’m so happy she’s happy!

JR–I told my hubby about doing binkies to get her to binky and he binkied all night himself. I wish I had video camera!!!!! SO HILARIOUS. His binkies include every body part with arms and legs dangling around. Pumpkin looks at him either disapprovingly or runs and hides! HA! But when he got down on the floor and did some head binkies she was game for that and binkied right back.

Bunny Hugger–my hubby is like JR’s. He talks a big game but he’s a big softy at heart. They had a Pumpkin carving contest at work and he asked if could just bring the bunny to show off since “she’s the cutest Pumpkin he knows.”

I dunno about joining in, maybe… lol
I really hope to be able to bond them… right now having issues with it and I haven’t gotten enough inspiration to write my plight to you guys for ideas. I started that one time and had invested a decent amount of time with typing it all out, then chrome crashed it and I lost it all. So I just need to do it again. I want to be able to lay the entire situation out, what we have available and things that make it particularly difficult. Since rabbits are so complex, there is just so many nuances I have to consider and need help determining what things would work for each particular issue, as well as what you guys think would be the best plan of attack. So yea.. I’ll be posting an initial book post for that and hope you guys are bored enough to read it all and comment. (thanks in advance!)

Nothing brings a smile to my face as quick as a binky!!! My buns are getting on in years (they are both 7) and have slowed down so binkies are a real treat.
