Hi, I don’t know if this is the right place to post this but I’m wondering where I can find a bunny sitter to come check in on Ernie when I’m out of town for Thanksgiving. Does anyone know of where I could find someone? Or is there anyone in NYC who’d like to do it?

        Thanks!

Some local rabbit rescues board bunnies, you can see if there are any rescues you can call near where you live.

I used to have my vet board my bunny also.

There is a chapter of the HRS in NYC. Hopefully someone there would know of sitters or places to board your bunny.

The great thing about NYC is the amount of resources we have here!

Before you look into boarding, consider “The Rabbit Whisperer”. They are a professional bunny sitter who goes to Manhattan, LIC, Astoria, and Northwestern Queens! You may also be able to work something out if you live in Brooklyn. Not sure if they’ll go to Staten Island or the Bronx.
              Check them out!

If you’ll be passing through North Jersey on you way out of town, my vet boards bunnies.

Sorry, I can’t make it all the way out to Astoria everyday, and can’t have another bun stay here since Porky isn’t neutered.

Ha thanks Eepster. I wish I were passing through Jersey–I’d take you up on that. I was wondering; is it too traumatic to leave board him at the vet’s office while I’m gone? The people I’ve contacted to check on him are already booked for Thanksgiving.
