So we went up to Rabbit Run orphanage yesterday and this is what happened:

Small consolation after losing our baby girl last week . But gosh, these two are just amazing, they were found abandoned in Botanical Gardens. Melbourne and are presumed to be mum (right) and son (left). It feels so strange caring for a normal pair after 2 years of VIB, but these two have helped us (me and girlfriend) tremendously over the last day.. I feel almost better watching them chase each other around my room.

They were named Mrs Petal and Master Parsley, which I totally approve of. <3.

Those are fantastic names. Reminds me a kitten at a shelter that was named The Good King Snugglewumps. How old are they?

That, is an awesome kitten name Diamond o.o. Petal (mom) is estimated 2 years, and Parsley(son) is 1. It just feels so bizarre seeing them eat hay properly. I put down a giant bunch last night and it all got eaten up.

Thanks everyone . I’m still in pain over losing my little girl, I don’t think the random bouts of tears will ever go away, but these two (especially the handsome little man) have helped us so much over the last few days. Mom is still a bit jumpy, but that’s just because shes been through a fair bit (having to protect son and being abandoned etc). Its amazing seeing her personality warm up bit by bit every day though.
