We have 2 French Lops (1 doe, 1 buck) that just turned 4 months old.  The boy had been having a bit of a sneezing/coughing issue for about a week, so we took him in for a checkup.  They said he looks and seems fine, maybe a slight respiratory infection, so gave us some antibiotics for him.  After a week on the meds, his sneezing/coughing seemed to stop, so all was well.  Then his sister started having a similar issue.  We brought them both in to be altered, the boy was neutered no issue, the girl the doc said had a fever over 104, and that since her brother was sick, he would feel better not operating until shes feeling better, and we agreed.  So we got more meds to give to her for 8 days.  Well today was day 9, and while she has no longer been coughing, it seems like her personality is off.  Shes been much more reclusive, and most certainly less active.  When we take her out of her pen now, she just goes to find a spot to lay where no one will bother her.  Shes eating okay, maybe her appetite is a bit down.  She eats her pellets, and has been nibbling on hay.  She eats her treats and Ive seen her drink.  The last few days she is eating carpet and plastic with a vengeance.  Not just chewing, but eating.  Wherever we put her she wants to chew and eat EVERYTHING.  And she was never this way.  We started finding very tiny poop pellets the last day or so, which ive read can be a blockage or dehydration?  Ive been giving her a bit of greenage and today gave her a bit of fresh pineapple to see if it might clear up.  I put her in a separate area for now so I can monitor her habits.  Shes been alone for a bit over an hour now and no poop or pee.  Could she still be not feeling so hot from the fever?  Or should I start to worry at this point?  She was at the vet last week.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

I think I would advise you to take her to the vet for a recheck at this point.

Thank you for the reply!  I got her some fresh hay and she munched on that right away.  Also I picked her up and her tummy gurgles quite a few times.  So Ive been rubbing her tummy and she seems to be more responsive.  Shes popped normally after the tummy massages so sounds like it was just a bit of gas?  We’ve given her some foods shes never had before this last week (banana, applesauce, spinach) to try and get her to take her medicine, so maybe it was just not agreeing with her tummy.  I slowly nudged her butt to make her hop around for a bit and I could hear some more gurgles.  Ill keep an eye on her and if she doesnt return to normal soon Ill definitely give the vet a call!

Just another update: I sat with her and rubbed her tummy for a good 5 minutes, her tummy was gurgling and rumbling the whole time, the poor thing!  After a few minutes I could see a change in her and she began to relax, even flopping over onto her side to let me continue.  Since then her demeanor has improved dramatically!  She started hopping around and nibbling on her toys as she normally does.  So fingers crossed that was the only issue
