My Sophie is really good at using her litter box. She poops a little bit at the front of her cage to mark it (because she isn’t fixed yet), but that’s normal. What I’m worried about is that when I left for the weekend and came back, I noticed she peed and pooped all over her bed and where she lays. She was being taken care of by my parents and sister, who she is very familiar with, so she wasn’t being mistreated. I don’t know if she did this because she was upset that I was gone or what! Please let me know any possible reasons!

Since she’s around the 6-7 month mark and that’s when lady bunnies commonly go through puberty, I think that it might be hormones. They amplify the marking instincts. So maybe she just wanted to make sure everyone really really knew it was her bed.
