I have two bunnies a boy (Linkin) who’s 8 months and girl (Zellie) who’s 4 months.
They don’t play in the same rooms. I got Linkin fixed, but about a week after his surgery, I cracked the door to the other room just for a few seconds, but he ran past me and then quickly mated with her.
That was about 3 weeks ago. Last week I took Zellie to the vet because her droppings smelled funny. The cause was her food, which was really weird since it’s the same food she had for several months. So I now give her the food the vet recommended, and her droppings are perfect.
Since yesterday she has been growling, lughing, biting when I get near her. She normally very sweet and loves being pet and hold.
Is there anyway to know for sure?

Oh Dear… Yes. It is entirely possible she is pregnant as it takes a full month for boys to be completely sterile. They can hold sperm in their body for several weeks post neuter. I learned that the hard way.
It usually takes 28-32 days for gestation so it would be about the time she would be getting snarky and looking to make a nest, unfortunately it is too late for an emergency spay which would have been the best option at the time the two got their groove thing on. Find a box big enough for her to get into and stand up in and cut a hole in the front for entry. Leave some hay and paper scattered around nearby. If she starts to make a nest then be prepared for the pitter patter of little feet some time in the next 7-10 days.

It’s rather hard to tell if a rabbit is pregnant until they are almost ready to give birth. Is she building a nest?
The lunging and biting could be because of a health issue, I don’t know if rabbits get cranky when pregnant. Can you pick her up quickly enough to give her a once-over and make sure she is not hurt anywhere? There are a few BBers that have experience with “oops” litters, maybe they can respond?

You can try gently palpating her tummy to see if its a bit lumpy, she will probably be looking a bit plumper than usual and also looking for extra food.. Which she will need… Unlimited every thing is required till bubs are weened. Keeping fingers crossed she might just be a bit hormonal but it might be an idea to get the vet to check her tummy if you don’t feel confident.

It’s possible, but it’s also possible she is just going through puberty.
