        Hello fellow bunny lovers,

I’ve noticed that Rollo’s urine ( since he peed on my floor…) is quite dark. It reminded me of when I check the oil in my car….

Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

He’s drinking and always has fresh water.

Probably not a problem. Bunny urine comes in a rainbow of colors, so as long as he is acting normal otherwise, there should be no reason to worry.

He is still running around and being his curious self and eating.

            Thank you!!

Luna’s pee tends to be dark and red-ish. Honey drinks a lot more and her pee is usually clear. It used to freak me out a lot more, but now that we’ve had them 8 months I trust it’s okay. They are (typically) happy, active little buns.
