Hi everyone! I haven’t posted in a while but I wanted to ask everyone’s opinions. I found this adorable mini rabbit condo and I’m wondering if anyone has something similar or has even purchased this one before? And yes I know they are easily built but I really don’t have the time or expertise to do that!

        What do you all think?

I think it’s expensive for what it is – for shipping the total cost would be $222.07.

I compared it to a one level Leith Petwork condo with shipping (at least shipping to my zip code) and theirs is $240.59.

I know those grids don’t cost that much. Just my opinion, the Leith Condo one story is much nicer for the difference in cost.

I agree it’s quite expensive the LP condos are very nice I have to say, but they’re actually VERY expensive compared to this. The one you saw was only a one level – the one I posted is two. The LP condo with two levels in almost $300 with shipping!

It sucks that you don’t have the time to do it. Otherwise I’d strongly suggest you build one yourself. And maybe check craigslist before buying that one. I’ve seen a couple NIC condos for sale on Craigslist where I live.

Yes, the LP condos are more but they are better made than the NIC condos. Why don’t you consider an x-pen?

That’s just the NIC condos we all make. Since it doesn’t come assembled, you are basically playing a huge premium on the supplies for some one else to gather them.

If the seller actually came to your house and assembled it for you, paying above the cost of supplies for the labor would be perfectly reasonable, but that’s not what you are getting.

                    ***UPDATE!
So I ended up buying this condo, but I went with the 2 level one instead. – http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rabbit-cage…519fdd87df
After shipping and tax it came to about $225. I have to say, I’m unbelievably happy with my purchase!!! This condo is SO nice  Very spacious but not overwhelming, just enough room for my (very spoiled) Noah! Night 1 in the condo was a little iffy as he’s had the same cage for about a year now and was very used to it. He kept trying to go into his old cage, but I realized I should move his litter box into the new condo asap and that worked, he actually hopped into the condo. Luckily he was about ready to eat dinner at this point, and I was able to move everything out of his old cage and into the new one by then, so he was sort of forced to eat in there. It went well! He spends most of his time out and in my bedroom roaming anyway, as he has free reign (range??) of my room, but he’s locked in overnight. He was throwing his bowl around and making a ton of noise, but I’m assuming he was just a little uneasy and not used to having this new domain. He did however venture to the second level, because I left treats up there that were gone by morning, so I’m happy about that. Just needs to adjust to the ramp.
The bottom floor of this cage is my favorite part, although I will be happier once he’s fully adjusted to the top level so he’ll have a place to lay down at night.
**If you’ve stuck around and read this so far, thanks haha. I’m actually wondering what everyone uses as a “bed”? Noah isn’t really used to them and I feel like he’d either pee in it or avoid it, knowing him.
As I was saying, the bottom level is GREAT because it’s made of a type of paneling that is waterproof, stain proof, etc.. I think it’s a shelf liner or something? I don’t remember. The only thing I can loosely compare it to is tile, but it has a bit of texture to it so he’s able to have some grip and not slide around (not like if he was on a smooth counter top or something.) I’ve put his litter box on the bottom level, and I also bought a plastic dog placemat (used for their food and water dishes) so if he accidentally gets some urine outside of the box, it won’t leak onto the floor – pretty nifty actually. But like I said, I’m wondering what I can put down on the bottom floor even in the mean time to make it a little cozier for him? I was even thinking of putting a small box on the top floor to go in at night or whatever, so he doesn’t feel as exposed.
Here are pictures of the condo so far:
