I’ve been slacking on my reading but I am halfway through “The Queen’s Fool” by Phililppa Gregory – I promised myself I would work my way through my Philippa Gregory books but I’ve gotten side tracked….maybe it’s just this particular book – it’s interesting but not so much that I cannot put it down I guess. I have more Philippa Gregory in the wings once I finish this up.

I’ve been working my way through Dexter on Netflix – so good – Michael C. Hall is so good in this and pretty easy on the eyes.  I finished “House of Cards” and that was SO GOOD…can’t wait for the next season.  I also have Season 2 of “Orange is the New Black” and all the seasons of “Breaking Bad” on my radar…so many good choices for marathons on Netflix.

Listening to – well, I’m pretty boring I only listen to NPR on the radio for news.  But I love Car Talk and Wait, Wait Don’t Tell me on my public radio station too.

        What about you?

Haven’t had enough time lately to do much reading or watch anything (Darn busyness!)
But I do enjoy Wait-Wait don’t tell me. Clever people.

I’m rereading Cold Magic by Kate Elliott. Very good if you like SciFi/fantasy.

Haven’t read anything recently, sadly. I have to go through last month’s Jon Stewart episodes to find the name of two books I wrote down that I wanted to check out… I’ve misplaced whatever I wrote it on. lol The hubby and I just finished up HBO’s old series ‘Oz’ and am now into Supernatural’s and The Walking Dead’s new seasons. YAY! I totally prefer marathon viewing, current shows are so frustrating having to wait for a week for the next show. ARG!

I’m not currently reading anything. I have one more book in the Incarnations of immorality by Piers Anthony, but have not gotten around to reading it.

I am currently stuck on a 90’s music channel on TV. It plays most genres from that decade.

I am in the middle of a short anime series called Karneval. I am also DYING waiting between New episodes of the recent Sailor Moon reboot. Why must they be two weeks apart!?! The hubs and I have been watching a lot of YouTube list videos and movies. We watched Pulp Fiction the other night.

I feel terrible, still haven’t picked up a book. And to think I used to read through the night cause I couldn’t put it down……

At the moment I’m super excited that my show’s have returned with new episodes and are back on TV. Homeland, The Good Wife, Blacklist, and a new one – Madam Secretary! Plus a couple of new Aussie series. No wonder I have no time to read….. Lol! Still super keen to see Orange is the New Black, and I’m considering upgrading my pay tv service so I can. I keep saying this Sarita, you gotta watch Breaking Bad – it’s brilliant!

For music, my radio station plays everything from the 80’s to the hits of today, so I listen to that everyday, I enjoy the mix. But if I’m having a few drinks I break out the classics (and some not so classic, ha haha).

Edit to ADD – I’m the same manic! I record all my shows and watch them all at once!   No wonder I can spend a whole day and night in bed!  LOL! I save them for a rainy miserable day when bed is the best place to be….

BrunosMama – OMG, I loved Piers Anthony! I remember reading quite a few of his books “back in the day”.

As usual, I do not have anything I’m currently reading. I just don’t have time for pleasure reading. It’s always business reading. LOL

I’m still watching the new episodes of Sleepy Hollow and Doctor Who. The new Gotham show is, well, I just don’t know. I liked the other show that was on before Sleepy Hollow last season MUCH better (Almost Human). It was cancelled due to low ratings, which I don’t understand. Oh well.
Oh and there are new episodes of South Park, but those won’t last long (a season is like 5 episodes).

manic_muncher – Marathoning is definitely the way to go! Walking dead is on netflix and I haven’t seen any of them yet, so I am going to marathon that. Problem with marathoning shows that are still on air, is that you do eventually catch up, and then play the waiting game like everyone else.
I wish Game of Thrones would start soon, but I don’t think thats until march?

The new ‘Gothem’ show just aired here on Sunday night. The hubby watched it – not me! Sorry LBJ!
Do you know I have never watched a batman, spiderman, or any super hero movie ever! The hubby said Gothem wasn’t like that – but I can’t help but associate it with batman so I can’t watch it. Lol!

AH – Yeah, it’s before Bruce became Batman. He’s actually a kid in this and the story is centered around James Gordon, who is just a “regular” police officer/detective in the unruly and corrupt Gotham City. James Gordon goes on to become commissioner in Batman’s “time”. Anyway, the show is supposed to explain where some of the Batman characters came from and show you what they were like before they became villains. The show, in my opinion, is a little over-the-top and the plot is very soap opera-ish. That’s why my husband has already lost interest. I was kinda wanting to wait a few more episodes to see where it leads.

I read “The Queen’s Fool” many years ago. It was alright but far from one of my faves by her.

Haven’t had much time for reading lately! But I’m currently working on “Daughters of Fire” by Barbara Erskine. It’s pretty good. I’ve enjoyed the other 2 books of hers I’ve read.

I’m excited that my fave show, Sleepy Hollow is back on. Also enjoying the new season of Trailer Park Boys on Netflix.

As for what I’m listening to, the last 2 CD’s I bought are Slash “World on Fire” and Moist “Glory Under Dangerous Skies”.

Trailer Park Boys looks like fun – going to add that to my list!

It is fun! But you have to have the right sense of humour!! It’s one of those things you either love or you hate. I especially love the show because it’s all filmed a few hours from here, in Nova Scotia.
