I just wanted to see if anyone knew what breed my bun is! She was supposed to be a full bred Holland Lop but I know she’s mixed with something else, whether it’s a Mini Lop or something completely different like a Rex… so I’m just curious!

Her one ear stands up all of the time (the other down), she has a longer face (not round and squished like a Holland’s), her back isn’t as arched as a Holland’s, she’s also pretty big (6 pounds). Here are some pictures of her…

        Thanks!

Huh… yes, definitely not a pure Holland lop!

Because of her “helicopter ears” (one ear up, one down), I’m going to assume she’s actually cross-bred with a non-lop breed. She looks like she could be part Palomino or a blonde Silver (far right). Possibly, although less likely, she could be cross-bred with a Thrianta

But the most likely thing is that one of her parents was also some kind of mixed-breed. Definitely not all lop, though!

My Bramble also has helicopter ears and his mum was a lop but his dad was a non-lop, not too sure of their exact breeds mind you. I love Bramble’s helicopter ears he is so cute when he lops just the one, he usually lops his left ear and leave the right one up but sometimes he will do the helicopter and have them both sticking out the way.

I am very bad with breeds, I definitely see the Holland Lop, but I couldn’t tell you what else.
              She is adorable!
