All day Nimmy was completely fine. A couple hours ago I locked him in his cage before I went out to the store. I came back and let him out of his cage and he’s being so weird! The only thing that remotely matches his symptoms (from what I can tell) is he has that head tilt problem. It looks like he is freaking out, like he’s seeing things that aren’t there. His eyes are wide open, he seems dizzy cause he keeps loosing his balance. And when he does sit still his eyes keep going back and forth like he’s watching something go around him in circles. Last week the vet said he was fine, since he can’t clean his ear I had the vet check to make sure his ear was clean and all. The vet said everything was fine, so is it still possible for him to get an ear infection in such a short amount of time?

Oh and he spins in circles. Is this a symptom of extreme pain? He still has the pin in his arm, maybe it moved somehow? Other than the head moving dizzy stuff he’s still eating and he’ll lick my hand. I don’t see any diaherria at all.

Right now I’m just sitting with him, petting his head to try and calm him

It definitely sounds like he’s dizzy for some reason. I would bring him to the vet ASAP. It could be head tilt setting in, but it could also be other things. Definitely watch to make sure he’s eating and drinking. If not, you may need to look into syringe feeding Critical Care and syringe watering.

I agree. Vet as soon as possible. His eyes moving like that could be neurological so he definitely needs to be checked out.

So he has an inner ear infection. I’ve never had a pet with so many health issues, I’m honestly feeling like a failure of a pet-parent. I love Nimmy so much, but I’m starting to feel like I’m doing something wrong. A broken elbow and an inner ear infection, only a month apart? I’ve only had him since May, if this pattern continues I won’t be able to keep up financially and then what?
I’m so stressed out about this, had an anxiety attack this morning, I’m trying not to cry right now

You’re doing fine… The ear infection probably came about from him not being able to groom properly with the broken elbow…. Things will get better,, Bunnies like any pet or small child will do things out of our control. Just hang in there.

                    Definitely. Hang in there.
I’m sorry you’re having some bad luck with him. It will pass. It’s not a reflection of your care.

I’m sorry your bun is having a lot of problems. Don’t feel bad. I consider myself a very good and vigilant bunny Mom and my bunny Bindi has dealt with so many problems, it’s insane. Some bunnies, like people, are just more prone to illness and/or injuries.
