Midas was just grooming himself, (the whole licking everywhere, and itching, and then repeating that fifty times XD.) Anyway, while he was itching himself, he was making some pretty weird noise. Little squeaks and grunts.. Is that normal? Should I be concerned?

Sounds to me like stretching to get to a hard to reach spot and maybe really hitting the right spot for the itch. I’ve never heard my bunnies do it, but my dog used to grunt and snort when she had to reach around to her tail, and she would groan like nobody’s business when she’d put her foot in her ear to scratch (obviously felt good).

Casper makes extremely weird noises when he is standing and reaches around trying to reach over. I figured it was wheezing due to his weight which my vet confirmed. Your bunny looks small so I wouldn’t worry. When they are standing and twisting to reach itchy spots it gets hard to breath normal which explains the squeaks and grunts.

Theodore does this while grooming too. It may be like the others have said, he may just be stretching and making sounds to do that like we sometimes do, or he may be “honking” gently because he’s enjoying grooming himself.
