        Hi all,

my bunny Pearl, now 5 months old is constantly biting and pulling up the carpet. Since we live in a predominately carpeted house this causes a little bit of a problem. Can anyone suggest anything I can do to discourage the carpet pulling behaviour. I give her chew things and sometimes she is interested but most of the time not.

Here’s a picture of the naughty rabbit in her outside pen.

        Regards,

        Pearls parents.

Has she been spayed yet? That could be the cause. Does she have free range or do you let her out to play? If you have an area that you let her out to play perhaps lay blankets down over the carpet or a rug that can be put away when she is done with her playtime. Perhaps someone else can give you some more ideas that will be helpful.
She is so cute I bet its hard to be mad at her.

Possibly puttinng down cardboard and then blankets or rugs will help keep the carpet safe! Spaying would help, but may not stop tje behavior entirely. She probably just thinks its a fun thing to do. You could always take her away from that area, pit her back in her home like its time out and giver her a toy to play with instead!
