I was just given a gift of an ‘impatiens’ hanging pot for my apartment.

It is hanging on the wall, and will be moved to the ceiling soon, it is not in an area that bunny should be in, and it is blocked off from him.  But he is tricky and sneaks back that way sometimes.

Checking online I am finding mixed reviews on this plant. I’m finding people asking how to keep the wild bunnies from eating them, but then seeing people say that they are not safe for house bunnies.  Well also finding that they are at least safe for humans to eat.
I don’t plan on feeding the plant to him, but I do worry if it would be a problem if he managed to get a flower or leaf that fall off of the plant.

        Help?

I just checked around the internet and all the sites I went to said that they are poisonous. I am not sure what to say about the plant, if you plan to keep it just make sure to pick up any fallen leaves or flowers and I guess try to keep him out of that area the best you can. Maybe not hang the plant up if that is an option?
